This Service provides assistance for people with problems with the Commonwealth Government's Centrelink agency (pensions, benefits and allowances previously provided through the Departments of Social Security and Employment, Education, Training & Youth Affairs).

How can the Welfare Rights Advocacy Service help you?
The Service can provide you with information about Centrelink pension, benefit and allowance payments and other welfare entitlements, and can represent you or otherwise assist you in discussions with Centrelink.

advice as to which benefit, pension or allowance you may be entitled. |

Appeals: |
assistance in preparing and/or presenting cases to the Social Security Appeals Tribunal. |

Referrals: |
to other welfare agencies which specialise in different problems. |

Policy Reform: |
submissions, campaigns and test cases to clarify or reform current laws and practices. |
This Service operates from our Hobart Office, but assistance can also be provided from our Bridgewater Office. An appointment is required.
